The same joke, better constructed. A professional in her thirties passing as a twenty year old temp, with the show mining the implausibility rather than hiding it. Same disguise comedy, same reliance on one lead's timing. Difference: it turns into a genuine financial caper in its second half, so there is a plot underneath the gag, which this show never bothers to build.

Slow start Episode 3, once the disguise stops being the joke and the fraud case starts moving. The setup hour is the weakest thing in sixteen episodes.

For the spy premise played with total confidence and no respect for physics. A retired operative, a family emergency, and action staged well enough to carry the silliness. Difference: it is ten episodes with a real clock and no school setting, and it is considerably more violent. The comedy comes from three men rather than from a fish out of water gimmick.

Hooks early Episode 1. A retired operative, a taken daughter, and no interest in explaining physics. The pace only breaks at episodes 8 and 9.

If the school half was the draw: an outsider walking into a corrupt school and correcting it physically. Same fantasy of an adult with skills arriving where the institution has failed. Difference: it is an eighteen rated show that opens most episodes with graphic bullying, so the tone is punishing where this is breezy.

Hooks early Episode 1. The format is set inside the first hour: a school, a crime, a very direct correction. It does not deepen after that, it repeats.

The gold standard for a Korean show that runs on one impossible protagonist and knows exactly how ridiculous it is. Comedy timed like farce, action played straight, corruption as the target. Difference: forty episodes and no undercover premise, with an ensemble strong enough that the lead can leave the screen. This show cannot survive Seo Kang Joon leaving a scene.

Hooks early Episode 2, once the priest, the prosecutor and the detective are stuck in the same room.

The serious answer to the same setting. School violence with real consequence, fights you can follow, and a school hierarchy enforced by money from outside. Difference: no comedy, no agent, no rescue. It is a tragedy about loneliness and it will make the school in Undercover High School look like a theme park.
