My Name review
마이 네임Checked and re-read
Eight episodes, one revenge, and the most visceral fight choreography Netflix has funded in Korea. Han So Hee plays a woman who sacrifices her identity to find her father's killer and the show never once pretends she will get it back intact. The plot is thin and predictable, the twist is visible from episode two, and none of that matters because the physicality and the grief are genuine. It costs exactly the right number of hours and does not waste a single one.
Following her father's murder, a revenge-driven woman puts her trust in a powerful crime boss — and enters the police force under his direction.
Hooks early Episode 1. The father dies in the first fifteen minutes and the deal is struck immediately.
