The best-made show in this whole neighbourhood. Violence with weight and consequence, fights shot so you can read every exchange, and a friendship that carries the entire eight episodes. If the brotherhood in season one was the reason you watched, this does that better than Bloodhounds ever manages. Difference: it is genuinely upsetting rather than fun. There is no swagger and no winning anywhere in it.

Hooks early Episode 1. Eight episodes, zero filler, and the first fight tells you exactly what kind of show this is.

The same shape for the same reason: two young men, one calm and one loud, whose friendship is the actual subject. Same conscription-era masculinity, same interest in what predatory power does to people with no leverage. Difference: there is nobody to fight. It is a procedural about hazing and paperwork, and it is much heavier and much sadder.

Hooks early Episode 1. Six episodes, and the first deserter case establishes the entire pattern.

For the appetite to see predatory money dismantled with style. An outsider with resources, a building full of people worth defending, and a villain the show is happy to make you enjoy hating. Difference: it is a black comedy with cartoon logic and a lawyer's mind, so the physical stakes never feel real the way a Bloodhounds fight does.

Slow start Episode 3, when the Geumga Plaza tenants stop being obstacles and become his crew.

Revenge with a body cost, in eight episodes and no filler. Somebody trained, sent inside an organisation, and visibly damaged by it, with hand-to-hand work that is among the best Korea has put on Netflix. Difference: no friendship and no comedy, and it is considerably bleaker. Nobody is saved by loyalty here.

Hooks early Episode 1. The father dies in the first fifteen minutes and the deal is struck immediately.

If you were mostly there for people who deserve it getting what is coming. Victims the system ignored, an episodic revenge outfit, and a satisfying beating on a reliable schedule. Difference: pulp with a case-of-the-week rhythm, no season-long villain and no real jeopardy for anyone you like.

Hooks early Episode 1. The format is fully established inside the first case.

Righteous violence played for laughs. A priest with a temper, a corrupt local power structure, and fight scenes staged as comedy without ever being weightless. Difference: it is a broad comedy first, forty episodes long in its original cut, and nothing in it will make you tense.

Hooks early Episode 2, once the priest, the prosecutor and the detective are stuck in the same room.
