Because you loved 참교육 2026 · Netflix · 10 episodes, about 11 hours in total Action & Adventure, Drama, Comedy Streaming: Netflix Change drama

A government unit with no interest in due process walks into a school where the bullies own the building, and corrects the situation physically. The pleasure is pure catharsis on a weekly schedule, and the price is that most episodes open with several minutes of graphic bullying designed to earn the beating that follows. These picks are ranked by how well they scratch the same itch, from the show it is openly copying to the ones that take the subject seriously.

Narrow it down 6 of 6

The order is our own call on how close two shows feel, not a score a machine worked out. Closest thing we have means the same experience in a different costume, shares one strong thread means one thing carries over, and same feeling, different angle means it gets you to the same place by another route.

모범택시

2021SBS16 ep~65 min~17h total

Shares one strong thread

The template, and it does the format better. A victim the system failed, an outfit that operates outside the law, a disguise, a beating, a smile. Same episodic revenge rhythm and the same refusal to make you sit with any moral doubt afterwards. Difference: the targets rotate across the whole of Korean society rather than staying inside schools, and it is funnier and considerably less punishing to watch.

Hooks early Episode 1. The format is fully established inside the first case.

Weak Hero Class 1

약한영웅 Class 1

2022Netflix8 ep~40 min~5.5h total

Shares one strong thread

The serious version of the same subject. School violence with real weight and consequence, fights shot so you can read every exchange, and no interest in catharsis. If the bullying scenes in Teach You a Lesson made you angry rather than excited, this is where that anger goes. Difference: nobody arrives to fix it. There is no unit, no authority and no correction.

Hooks early Episode 1. Eight episodes, zero filler, and the first fight tells you exactly what kind of show this is.

Juvenile Justice poster

Juvenile Justice

소년심판

2022Netflix10 ep~60 min~10h total

Same feeling, different angle

For the institutional argument the vigilante format skips. A judge who openly detests juvenile offenders, working inside a system that keeps producing them, with cases that offer no satisfying punishment. Same fury, aimed at the machinery instead of the individual. Difference: it is procedural, cold and slow, and it deliberately denies you the moment where somebody gets hit.

Hooks early Episode 1, and it is the hardest case in the series. Nothing later is easier to sit through, and the show never lets up.

The Glory

더 글로리

2022Netflix16 ep~50 min~13h total

Same feeling, different angle

Revenge for school violence, executed with patience instead of fists. Twenty years of preparation, a target list, and a lead who is entirely willing to destroy herself to finish the job. Same premise that the institutions will never do it for you. Difference: this is a slow, elegant melodrama about the adults those children became, and the violence is emotional rather than physical.

Revenge of Others poster

Revenge of Others

3인칭 복수

2022Disney+12 ep~60 min~12h total

Same feeling, different angle

The school itself as a crime scene, with a girl transferring in to work out who killed her brother. Same setting, same understanding that the hierarchy in the corridor is enforced by money outside it. Difference: it is a mystery driven by teenagers rather than a strike force, so the payoffs are reveals rather than corrections, and it is thin in its final act.

The Fiery Priest

열혈사제

2019SBS40 ep~35 min~23h total

Same feeling, different angle

Righteous violence played for comedy. A priest with a temper, a corrupt local power structure, and fights staged as gags without ever feeling weightless. Same appetite for watching an untouchable get touched. Difference: it is a broad forty episode comedy with no children in danger, so it never trades on discomfort to earn its catharsis.

Commonly suggested, and wrong

All of Us Are Dead

Paired for the school setting and for Netflix. It is a zombie survival series that uses its bullies as a source of cheap catharsis. Teach You a Lesson is a procedural about institutional failure with a strike team attached. The overlap is a corridor and a uniform.

Vigilante

The obvious lateral pick: a young man punishing criminals the courts released. It is closer in method than anything else on this list, and it is a much colder show, more interested in what the vigilante is becoming than in the satisfaction of the act. If the catharsis was the reason you watched, that turn will feel like a bait and switch.

Sky Castle

Suggested for the education theme, which is the whole of the connection. That is a satire about parents destroying their children with tutoring budgets, played as drawing room horror. This is a man slapping a teenager who deserves it. Same industry, opposite genres, and nothing in Sky Castle is satisfying in the way this show is built to be.

A note on method

Matching starts from attributes we set by hand: pace, how much romance drives the plot, emotional weight, comfort. Then a title only stays if it holds up against the whole run of the show and earns a one-sentence reason for being on this list. Full method.
