A high school outbreak that never leaves the building for long, and the best thing in it is that the children behave like children: they film each other, they bicker, they make jokes while the corridor fills up. An 8.6 from 109,787 ratings is fair, the violence sits at about the level of Train to Busan, and the young cast is better than the writing around it. Two of the twelve episodes exist to fill the season, the adult and military scenes are dead weight whenever the show cuts to them, and one late subplot belongs in a different series. It is a school story first and a zombie story second, which is why it works.
A high school becomes ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected.
