A police cadet spends his nights beating the sentences the courts were too soft to hand out. Nam Joo Hyuk is genuinely good as a blank, and Yoo Ji Tae is better as the detective closing in on him, with Lee Joon Hyuk as the money that wants to sponsor him. Eight tight episodes of about forty four minutes, excellent fight choreography, and a moral argument the script keeps setting up and then dodging: every time it should ask whether he is right, it cuts to another beating. Great to watch, thin to think about, and the ending is a sequel hook rather than an ending.
Kim Ji-yong leads a double life as a Korean National Police University student by day and the Vigilante by night, personally punishing criminals who evade the law. He is surrounded by people who all possess different ulterior motives.
Hooks early Episode 1. The double life is established in the first twenty minutes and the pursuit starts immediately.
