Seven episodes of pure noir: a brother is dead, a man walks back into the gang he left, and the violence starts immediately. The fights are spectacular and the plotting is deliberately simple, because the point is the descent rather than the mystery. Style over substance, and the style is genuinely good. An 8.3 from about twenty thousand rating voters, which is about right for style this good over a story this thin.
