Difference: The Whirlwind has no romance, no amnesia and no rug-pull, and it is dense from the first minute rather than the eighth hour.

The descent is the point rather than the mystery. Difference: Mercy for None has no politics and no corporate machinery, and it lands its ending instead of undoing it.

Difference: The Worst of Evil earns its ending and commits to it, which is the exact thing this run gives up in its final hour.
