A thriller premise carried entirely by a marriage. A man living under a false identity, a wife who works homicide, and the real question is never whether she catches him but what she does with him afterwards. Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won are why it works; the police procedural around them is ordinary and the big reveal arrives early enough that the back half is about consequences instead of suspense. It is heavy as well as tense: the violence is real, the trauma is not tidied away, and the marriage takes damage before anything gets better. It resolves properly, which this genre rarely manages, and the late reset is the part worth arguing about. One of the few thrillers here you can hand to someone who does not like thrillers.
