Just Between Lovers
그냥 사랑하는 사이Checked and re-read
The quietest disaster melodrama here and the one that earns its recovery. Two survivors of the same building collapse meet a decade later, and the drama is patient enough to let them be avoidant, unpleasant and physically in pain long before it lets them be in love. Lee Jun Ho is the surprise, doing more with silence than most leads manage with a monologue. The construction conspiracy running underneath is functional at best and the first two episodes are grey and slow. From episode nine on it is as good as this genre gets.
Two survivors of a building collapse discover support and love in each other as they overcome the pain of loss and reconstruct a hopeful future.
Slow start Episode 3, once the shared history behind the collapse becomes clear.
