When Life Gives You Tangerines
폭싹 속았수다Checked and re-read
One of the ten highest rated Korean dramas ever made, and it earns that without doing anything clever. Four seasons, one Jeju family, sixty years, and a script that treats ordinary lives as though they were worth sixteen hours, because they are. IU is very good and Moon So Ri, playing the same woman older, is better. It is engineered to make you cry, you can see the engineering, and it works anyway. The only real caveat is that it never surprises you: this is the best possible version of exactly what it looks like.
In Jeju, a spirited girl and a steadfast boy's island story blossoms into a lifelong tale of setbacks and triumphs — proving love endures across time.
Hooks early Episode 2, where the childhood section pays off.
