The structure is genuinely ambitious. It is also badly overlong, and the editing misleads for its own sake, showing scenes that did not happen without giving you the tools to doubt them. Written reviews rate the story a full point below the acting, and the last episode reaches for an argument the twenty hours in front of it never earned. Remarkable performance, compromised show.
