Six episodes, and the rare Korean drama that forced a real institution to answer for itself. Two military police catch deserters, and every case is a study of what the barracks did to the man before he ran. It is funny in bursts, the way barracks talk is funny, and the last two episodes are as good as television gets. The relief is intermittent and there is no romance, and the final scene refuses to close on purpose. The best thing Netflix has commissioned in Korea.
