So Ji Sub plays a savings bank manager who used to be a very effective spy, his daughter is taken, and the show gives him two middle aged friends with one outfit each and the same impossible skill set. It is Taken with a Korean webtoon logic, and the trio is what makes it more than that: three men past their prime, deeply unserious about themselves and lethal anyway. Logic left in the first ten minutes and never came back. Episodes 8 and 9 sag badly. Watch it for the action and the friendship, and do not think about the school violence subplot too hard.
When an unassuming dad's daughter goes missing, he dusts off his old black-ops skills to track her down — only to attract the wrong kind of attention.
Hooks early Episode 1. A retired operative, a taken daughter, and no interest in explaining physics. The pace only breaks at episodes 8 and 9.
