The best hangout show Korea has made, and barely a medical drama at all. Almost nothing happens: five friends in their forties eat, play in a terrible band, and occasionally save a life. It takes two episodes to stop feeling like a slow procedural and then becomes very hard to leave. The patient cases are the weakest part, sentimental and self-contained, and the romances move slowly enough to test you. Season two finishes what this one starts, so plan for both.
Every day is extraordinary for five doctors and their patients inside a hospital, where birth, death and everything in between coexist.
