The written reviews are extraordinary, and it is also the hardest watch here. Two people at the bottom of their lives, one middle aged and hollowed out, one young and criminal, and the drama refuses to make either of them charming about it. The first three episodes are grey and slow enough to lose you; from episode four it does not miss. There is no romance in the way the poster implies, and that is the point. If you watch one Korean drama for the writing, make it this one.
In a world that is less than kind, a young woman and a middle-aged man develop a sense of kinship as they find warmth and comfort in one another.
Slow start Episode 4 is the turn. Before that it just looks bleak.
