A demon loses his powers, a cynical heiress becomes the human battery he needs, and they sign a marriage contract. Kim You Jung is very good and Song Kang looks the part, and the first four hours are a genuinely fun supernatural romcom. Then the plot runs out and the show fills nine more hours with an inheritance war, a killer nobody cares about and a magic system that changes rules whenever the romance needs it. An 8.3 from 105,000 ratings and a 3.3 rewatch score: enjoyable once, and nobody is going back.
