Twelve hours of cliches executed with total conviction, and the conviction is why it works. The point is speed and the second couple: the friend and the heiress are better written than the leads and get most of the good lines. There is no depth here, the office plot is cardboard, and it never once pretends otherwise. Best taken two episodes at a time in a bad week. If you want a romance that argues with you, this is the wrong one.
In disguise as her friend, Ha-ri shows up to a blind date to scare him away. But plans go awry when he turns out to be her CEO — and makes a proposal.
Hooks early Episode 1. It commits to the bit in the first ten minutes, and that is the appeal.
