Episodes one to eight are the best pure comfort romance of 2024, with a time travel hook that works and a lead pair worth the noise. After the second jump it starts bending its own rules to keep the couple apart, the plot holes stop being ignorable, and the last stretch repeats itself enough to undo the goodwill. Watch the first half without hesitation. Whether you finish depends on how much you forgive a show for loving its premise more than its logic.
Right after Ryu Sun-jae, a top star, ends his life, Im Sol, his top fan, somehow ends up at a time when they were in high school and tries to protect him. A fantasy romance unfolds where people who missed each other in time finally meet.
Hooks early Episode 2, the first jump back. Be warned: the lead's fan-girl register in the first two episodes is a lot to take, and it settles around episode 6.
