Same core joke, that strength in a woman is funny and adorable rather than threatening, and the same refusal to make her shrink. Lee Sung Kyung does with clumsiness what Park Bo Young does with power. Difference: there is no crime plot at all, so the whole runtime stays on the characters, and it is the better show for it.

Hooks early Episode 2, once the two leads start colliding on purpose.

The same live-action cartoon register. Broad, fast, unembarrassed comedy with a chaebol lead, physical gags shot like a comic panel, and a couple you are rooting for by episode two. Difference: no supernatural element and no thriller, twelve episodes instead of sixteen, and nothing in it slows down.

The exact same structure, done more evenly. A romcom welded to a serial-killer investigation, with the comedy carrying the load and the case in the background. If the split tone here did not bother you, this is the natural next one. Difference: the crime half is competent rather than cartoonish, and the villain is a real threat instead of a punchline.

An unusual power used to solve a crime, with young leads and jokes. Same premise shape, a gift its owner did not ask for and a case that needs it, and it takes the investigation seriously without losing the comedy. Difference: the mystery is genuinely good and genuinely dark, so this is the version where the plot is the reason to stay.

For the neighbourhood and the found family. The strongest part of Bong-soon is the world around her, and this is sixteen hours of that: four friends with no money, a rooftop, and a group of people who know each other far too well. Difference: no fantasy element and no villain, just adults failing at careers, and the emotional writing is a level above.

Hooks early Episode 1. The friendship is fully established in the first twenty minutes.

The chaebol heir and the employee, with the comedy dialled up. Same power imbalance, same broad gags, same handsome man learning to behave. Difference: it has no plot engine whatsoever, not even a bad one, so it lives or dies entirely on whether you like the leads.

Hooks early Episode 1. The heir and the smiling hotel clerk meet in the first twenty minutes and the show never complicates that.
