It is a silly premise played with total conviction, and Jo Bo Ah and Rowoon have the chemistry to carry it: the written reviews average 8.5, which is high for a fantasy romcom. The horror side plot is undercooked and the middle four episodes stall while the show explains its own mythology twice. Come for the leads, not the lore.
