Jeju, a disgraced photographer, the weather forecaster who has loved her since childhood, and a village full of people with opinions. The back half is excellent and the per-episode ratings show it, even though the curve wobbles on the way. Getting to it means sitting through seven hours of a Seoul cancellation plot that the writing has no interest in, which is why a warm show scores 6.8 on story and 4.8 on rewatch. Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hae Sun are worth the patience. Skim the first quarter.
After suffering a fall from grace, a photographer returns to her hometown and bumps into her childhood friend — rekindling an unfinished romance.
Slow start Episode 8, when the show finally drops the career scandal plot and becomes the hometown drama it was always trying to be.
