A family drama set during the 1997 IMF crisis, and the period setting gives the family conflict real economic stakes rather than manufactured ones. The ensemble is strong, the father-son dynamic is the emotional core, and the show finds its subject properly around episode three. Sixteen episodes is too many for the story it is telling, and the last four hours are the weakest. Worth it for the period atmosphere and the performances.
