A village romcom about a liquor-company salesperson with a special-forces past and the sensitive brewmaster whose beer she has to sell, and the first two episodes are so slow that the rest of the show has to recover from them. It does recover, eventually, and the leads have a warmth that carries the middle stretch. The tone is wildly inconsistent, swinging between sensitive character study and broad slapstick inside the same episode, and the beer-brewing plot never quite justifies its own existence. A pleasant watch that cannot decide what kind of show it wants to be.
A heart-fluttering love story between Chae Yong-ju, a super passionate sales king at a liquor company who hides her emotions, and Yun Min-ju, a super sensitive brewery owner who is adept at catching people’s emotions.
Slow start Episode 3, once the brewery plot and the romance are pointed in the same direction.
