A contract marriage, a kidnapping, and a thriller that moves faster than any romance drama has a right to. Twelve episodes with no filler, a sign language premise the show actually uses, and Yoo Yeon Seok playing cold better than he plays warm. The plotting gets silly in the back half and the finale is tidier than the twelve hours in front of it earned. Neither costs it much: this is the most propulsive romance thriller since Vincenzo, and it knows exactly how long to stay.
