A cross-dressing eunuch, a crown prince, and a lighter touch than a Joseon romance usually manages. Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung are teenagers playing teenagers and the first ten episodes are close to perfect comfort television. It also has a politics plot it does not care about, and once that plot takes over around episode eleven the ratings sag and stay sagged. Watch the front half for the romance and forgive the back half for the coup.
A young Joseon woman who's lived her whole life as a man ends up as a eunuch in the royal palace, where she begins to bond with the crown prince.
