Money as a costume, worn by women who were not born with it. Both are about class as something you can counterfeit if you know which details matter, and both look expensive doing it. Difference: it is heightened and slightly fabular, with three sisters instead of one invention.

Hooks early Episode 1. The money goes missing inside the first hour and the show never slows down again.

Leverage, borrowed status and a slick surface. Same world of people whose position depends on somebody powerful continuing to find them useful. Difference: it waits until episode 7 for its hook and the back half is the reason to stay.

Slow start Episode 7, and it genuinely improves from there: the ratings climb through the back half and the last two hours are the best of the run.
