Difference: Our Beloved Summer is about four episodes of story stretched with mood and lighting, so it is prettier and far less eventful.

Slow start Episode 3, once the documentary footage starts cutting between who they were and who they are.

The office romcom that loads every cliche into its opening hour and coasts on charm afterwards. Fourteen episodes, a fling that becomes a workplace problem, and a reunion at the company that is exactly as predictable as it sounds. Difference: Dynamite Kiss peaks at the start rather than the middle, so where this one improves at episode five, that one is already sliding.

Hooks early Episodes 1 and 2, which tie as the best hours of the run. It trends down from there, with one late recovery, and the last two are the weakest.

A boss-and-assistant romance built on mutual competence instead of bickering. Twelve episodes that trust two people to talk their way out of trouble, with real warmth and a very low threat level. Difference: Love Scout costs nobody much of anything, so the workplace politics that give this show its middle are absent.

Hooks early Episode 2, when the headhunting CEO and her secretary start actually working together rather than sparring about it.

The archetype workplace romance, expensive and easy to put on. Sixteen episodes of a hotel, an heir, a hardworking employee, and two leads who are effortless together. Difference: King the Land has no plot at all, and a boardroom subplot nobody watches for, where this at least has an office with something happening in it.

Hooks early Episode 1. The heir and the smiling hotel clerk meet in the first twenty minutes and the show never complicates that.

A first love who comes back, in eight episodes with no padding. The reunion happens inside twenty minutes and the rest is aftermath, played sweet and nostalgic without ever getting interesting. Difference: Serendipity's Embrace has no workplace and no politics, so the professional awkwardness here is traded for pure comfort.

The other 2026 romance that turns at episode five and stays warm afterwards. Twelve episodes, a village that becomes real, and two leads who stop sparring early. Difference: Spring Fever is a small-town show with no office and no bullying subplot, so it is a considerably kinder watch.
