An office romcom that hooks at episode five when the first love returns and then craters at episode eight, which is comfortably the worst hour in the run. The workplace politics drive the middle and nothing after episode eight improves. A 7.8 that accurately reflects a show with a promising setup and no follow-through.
Cha Ji-yoon is a 7th-year corporate worker who's tired of both work and dating. She crosses paths with Kang Si-woo, the cynical boss with a terrifying reputation. Unexpectedly, she regains spark in her life as she gets to know the kindness behind his stern words. Amid repeated commutes, accidents at work, and failed relationships, the two become each other's irreplaceable anchor.
Slow start Episode 5, when the first love actually returns rather than being hinted at. Episode 8 is a marked dip and the worst hour in the run.
