Phantom Lawyer

A ghost-client legal comedy that is cozy, predictable, and exactly as long as it should not be. Sixteen episodes is far too many for a case-of-the-week show whose one running thread, the lawyer's father and the old corruption death behind him, is parcelled out too thinly, and the middle stretch is flat. The final two hours are the strongest, the leads are likeable, and the 8.2 reflects a show that people finished rather than a show that challenged them.
A timid lawyer who suddenly gains the ability to see ghosts teams up with a cold, elite attorney, and together they take on supernatural clients whose unfinished business reveals buried truths.
Hooks early Episode 1. Ghost clients, one reluctant lawyer, case of the week. The middle stretch is flat and the last two hours are the strongest.
