Is it worth it

A blocked novelist, a ghostwriter, and a typewriter that remembers 1930s Gyeongseong, and it is far better than that logline suggests. The colonial-era half is the real show, three friends in a resistance cell written with enough weight that the modern half becomes a story about owing something to the dead. Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Pyo are superb, the back half is where it is strongest, and it never explains itself twice. The present-day publishing comedy is the weak strand and it is still funny.

Writers that lived under Japanese rule in the 1930's are reincarnated into a bestselling writer who is in a slump, a mysterious ghostwriter and an anti-fan of the bestselling writer.

Hooks early Episode 1. The typewriter and the debt arrive in the first hour, and the show still asks for patience, because the early episodes are deliberately slow.
