Boyfriend on Demand
월간남친Checked and re-read
A burnt out webtoon producer subscribes to a virtual boyfriend service and gets a rotating cast of cameos. The idea is timely and the show does nothing with it: no escalation, no cost, no argument about what she is actually buying, just a very expensive parade of outfits and famous faces. Ji Soo and Seo In Guk are pleasant and stranded. It is not offensively bad, which is worse, because a premise about outsourcing intimacy in 2026 should provoke something. Watch it on second screen or skip it and watch Dynamite Kiss, which fails at the same job with more charm.
Seo Mi-rae is worn out by work. Love? It's the last thing on her mind. But a virtual dating service sparks feelings — and maybe a real shot at romance.
Hooks early Episode 1 is the entire concept and the show never escalates past it. If the subscription gag has not won you by the end of the first hour, stop there.
