The premise does not survive daylight: what she is hiding is acne, the script treats a dermatologist as unthinkable and a plastic surgeon as reasonable, and the male lead does things at the start that the show frames as charming. The back third is misunderstandings on a timer, and the second lead is written so well that the ending feels like a loss.
