Hellbound
지옥Checked and re-read
Otherworldly things arrive to name a date and then come back to collect, and the show is not about them at all: it is about the church that grows into the space the panic leaves behind. A 7.5 from 26,480 ratings against twelve written reviews averaging 7.62, with 8.67 for acting, is the gap that matters, because the craft is real and the pleasure is not. Kim Hyun Joo and Yoo Ah In are excellent, the photography is the best thing in it and the creature work is the worst. Six episodes split into two halves by a jump that hands the story to new people, and the second half is where the argument thins out. It is bleak on purpose and gives nothing back, so watch it for the idea rather than for the horror.
Unearthly beings deliver bloody condemnations, sending individuals to hell and giving rise to a religious group founded on the idea of divine justice.
Hooks early Episode 1. The first public collection and the argument the show is actually making are both inside the opening hour.
