Is it worth it
The finale the 2021 season did not need. Six episodes, one genuinely great game, and a conclusion that mistakes cruelty for meaning. The baby subplot asks for an emotional investment the writing has not earned, and the Front Man arc resolves on a shrug. Lee Jung Jae is still committed and the production is still immaculate, which makes the hollowness worse rather than better. Watch it to finish what you started, not because it is good.
Gi-hun is devastated by the loss of his best friend and sinks into deep despair after discovering that the Game Master had hidden his true identity to secretly infiltrate the game.
